I mean, I almost feel bad for NYC. they passed an ordinance in clear conflict with previous SCOTUS precedent, then repealed it in an attempt to derail the SCOTUS case. Now, SCOTUS is going to hear the case anyway, which of course means they are being partisan, or something.
Nevermind that the revised ordinance is hardly better than the old one, you still can't legally transport your handgun to the shooting range and stop for gas.
